DESTIN BUJANG

Founder/CEO

Destin Bujang is an experienced event management professional that originally hails from Cameroon. Ever since coming to Canada in 2012, Destin has worked with multiple diverse communities and individuals to create memorable events and assist small businesses.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, he has mastered the Toronto entertainment scene, and successfully organized and executed over a 100 events across several different cities and venues. Destin is also a youth and community advocate who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people. He holds a Bachelors with honors, Suma Cum Laude, from York University.

ABHISHEK SARKAR

Marketing Specialist

Abhishek Sarkar is an experienced marketing professional that handles all the marketing activities for the company. Abhishek first started working in the events industry in 2012 as an event staff at the Fan Expo and quickly developed a great interest in it. He is also passionate about MarTech and marketing 4.0. An avid traveller, Abhishek has travelled to 19 countries across the world.

Chinue Bute’ is an up and coming entrepreneur with a passion for providing excellent customer service. She has been part of the Diamond Promo team since its inception and works hand-in-hand with the CEO to ensure the smooth running of events. She also works as the company treasurer and manages ongoing event finances.

Bash the Captain

Operations

Bash the Captain is an experience event planner, night life Connoisseur and a local plug for all your needs. If you need anything, literally ask Bash. In charge of company operations and event day management and directions. Bash finds his way around all kinds of people, and makes everyone feel at home and comfortable. He also has extensive background in child and youth work as well as immigrant and refugee services.

MD Lyonga

Artist

MD Lyonga is a Canadian Afro-rapper and producer of Cameroonian descent. Hailing from Buea, he relocated to Canada in 2013 to leverage the opportunities that Canada’s multicultural and welcoming environment provides. He uses his platform to broadcast Cameroonian inspired music in Canada and around the world. He has made a strong musical and cultural statement with his new album “An African Folklore, Vol. 1”.

HARRI BOMAYE’

Artist

Harri Bomayé is a budding Canadian Afro fusion artist of Cameroonian descent. He has been greatly influenced by Bantu culture and sounds, contemporary Afro as well as hip-hop and soul. He utilizes music as a tool to entertain and teach, to be a link to music lovers and ultimately, to express art.

JONATHAN AMPONSAH

Photographer

Jonathan Amponsah is a university student majoring in communications and new media at Thompson Rivers University. Since he moved back to Canada from Ghana in 2016, Jonathan started his photography business, Shutter Movement photography in 2018 and has his heart set on capturing the best moments.

JBwai - Artist

Michael Baiye who is better known by his stage name “Jbwai” is a Cameroonian musician, singer, performer
songwriter, record producer, born on September 28th, 1993.in Kumba, a prominent town in the southwest
region of English speaking Cameroon, the town is known for his vibrant business and entertainment atmosphere,
the town is popularly known in Cameroon as K TOWN
Jbwai is presently based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, made his first venture into music when he was 24, he has
released several singles such as Come Close featuring Tropicoboy and Tyke, ONA feat Tropicoboy, Holiday
(single) and Imani and has been part of mega-concerts for top Afrobeats artists from Africa.
He's also worked on a collaborative project with Cameroonian popular rapper Ko-c on
Busy Body Remix while also working on another project with Nigerian star girl Waje, in his debut EP title
Certified which will be announced soon after his first single Gbas Gbos out of the said EP to be released . His
music is influenced by classic Afro-beat vibes, but it also has a more unique feel, embracing a wide range of
modern influences, allowing his sound to hit with a mercurial twist.
